This information is stored in encrypted files and secure cloud storage, both protected by multi-factor authentication, and is used exclusively for purposes related to your professional expertise and participation in our projects. Access to your personal information is restricted to authorized RAIN employees who have received appropriate data protection training and require such access in order to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and our clients.
If you decide to withdraw or modify your consent to participate in the RAIN expert network, simply notify RAIN’s Data Protection Officer using the contact details provided below, and we will promptly update or remove your information as required by applicable law.
With respect to cookies, we aggregate website usage information to create datasets that help us analyze and improve our services. These anonymous, aggregated datasets do not directly affect your rights or freedoms and are not considered personal data.
Although RAIN has implemented robust organizational, technical, and physical security measures to protect personal information, please note that no online transmission or data processing system can be completely secure. You have the right to request access to your personal information held by RAIN by submitting a Data Subject Access Request. Access to and correction of your personal information is generally provided free of charge. However, we may charge a reasonable fee for repetitive or excessive requests. Before fulfilling any request, we may ask you to verify your identity. Please contact our Data Protection Officer if you wish to exercise any of these rights.
In the event of a personal data breach, RAIN responds promptly in accordance with its role under applicable data protection legislation. Where RAIN acts as the Data Controller, our employees are trained to report any suspected personal data breach to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at dpo@rainpartners.ua within 12 hours of becoming aware of the incident. The DPO will assess the breach and notify the appropriate supervisory authority within 48 hours where required. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to affected individuals, we will notify those individuals within 72 hours.
Where RAIN acts as the Data Processor and the client is the Data Controller, employees must likewise report any suspected breach to the DPO within 12 hours. The DPO will then notify the client within 48 hours and provide all relevant information required for the client’s own reporting obligations. Clients who suspect a potential data breach relating to services provided by RAIN should also contact the DPO immediately.
This rapid response process is designed to ensure effective incident management and minimize potential risks to both RAIN and our clients while maintaining compliance with applicable data protection laws.
